Shanghai's flavours,
Keep it casual.
Our meat is prepared in Shanghai's kitchen and is the same meat served there. By also using cuts such as Shanghai's beef trimmings, we keep our prices affordable. The seasoning is the same as Shanghai's, too.

Yakiniku to go with your drinks. We hope to be a place where you can drop in, chat and get together casually.
For families raising children, too,
Delicious yakiniku.
We want you to enjoy delicious food with your children.
When our child was born in 2025, we realised how few restaurants offered a good meal with children. We wanted other parents, as well as ourselves, to enjoy delicious food together with their children. That was what inspired us to open Kaido.
Sundays are Family Day rather than tavern service: a chance to gather around yakiniku with your family. You can enjoy Shanghai's full menu here at Kaido. To book, please call Shanghai. Pushchairs are welcome.
The name Kaido refers to the historic road that once ran near the restaurant, and also evokes a gathering hall. We hope to be a place where friends, colleagues and families can get together casually.
